Fitters – Raisebore (Underground)
About the Role

Redpath is seeking experienced Underground HD Fitters to join our Raisebore Division in Western Australia.

These FIFO roles (ex Perth) work an 14:14 even time roster, supporting our fleet of raisebore rigs across multiple WA sites. You’ll be part of a highly skilled trades team maintaining critical underground equipment in a safety driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs on large underground mobile plant
  • Diagnose faults and repair or replace components as required
  • Maintain plant and equipment in compliance with site standards and regulations
  • Complete and sign off daily maintenance work orders
  • Accurately record additional parts used and follow up work required
  • Conduct pre start checks prior to equipment use
  • Attend and actively participate in pre starts, toolbox talks, safety and shift meetings
  • Only perform tasks you are trained, competent, and authorised to undertake
  • Action critical equipment defects immediately and report to supervision
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant trade qualification (HD Fitter)
  • Proven experience with underground hard rock mobile mining equipment
  • Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Current manual driver’s licence
  • CPR certification (HLTCPR201A – Perform CPR)
  • Working at Heights Statement of Attainment
  • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and equipment reliability
